Terms of Use
Effective June 2026
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Copycat (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Solco, LLC (“Solco,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company that develops and distributes Copycat.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Solco grants you a worldwide, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on macOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or any portion of it.
3. Payments & Fees
Copycat is distributed exclusively through the Apple Mac App Store. All purchases and billing are handled by Apple Inc. in accordance with Apple's own terms and conditions. Solco, LLC does not collect or process any payment information.
Refunds, if applicable, are subject to Apple's refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for any billing or refund requests.
4. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Solco, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, make available to the public, disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the App or any part of it without our prior written consent, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
- Transmit malware, spyware, or any malicious code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network;
- Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the App;
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the App or its services.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLCO, LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Solco, LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SOLCO, LLC OR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ANY CASE, SOLCO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Solco, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
If you are located in the European Union and believe you have a consumer law right that overrides the above, you may also have the right to bring a claim before a court in your country of residence.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
